ABOUT THE GIG
The quest is too big to tackle alone. The Adventurer’s Guild of Giving is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to defeating social isolation through the power of play. We build "third spaces" where gamers can step out of the shadows, find their party, and build real-world support systems.
As the Director of Digital Engagement, you will sit on our Executive Board and work directly with the founders to govern our online presence. You will be the guiding force behind our 24/7 Discord sanctuary and our public-facing content strategy.
YOUR PRIMARY QUESTS
- The Digital Stronghold: Oversee the moderation, growth, and engagement strategy of our 24/7 Discord community, ensuring it remains an inclusive and toxic-free environment.
- The Heralds (Stream Team): Manage and expand our content creator program, coordinating charity streams and empowering creators to leverage their platforms for the cause.
- Social & Brand Presence: Guide the Guild's voice across our social platforms to reach isolated gamers where they already are.
- Board Governance: Attend monthly High Council meetings, collaborate on organizational strategy, and act as a digital ambassador for the Guild’s mission.
YOUR CHARACTER BUILD (Qualifications)
- Professional or highly dedicated volunteer experience in community management, social media strategy, or digital marketing.
- A deep understanding of Discord architecture, Twitch/YouTube culture, and the content creator ecosystem.
- Strong communication and crisis management skills (handling toxicity and leading moderation teams).
- A self-starter mentality. We are a growing sanctuary, and we need builders who are comfortable charting new territory.
- Bonus XP: Previous experience growing a Twitch stream team or managing a large-scale gaming community server.
