We are absolutely thrilled to announce that today marks the official spawn point for The Adventurers Guild of Giving (AGoG). We have officially filed our Articles of Incorporation, and we are now a registered nonprofit corporation here in the state of Rhode Island!
Our Mission: A World Without Solo Play We started the Guild because we know firsthand how heavy the “solo play” of life can get. Whether it’s the challenges of navigating social anxiety or just the difficulty of finding your people in an increasingly digital world, we believe that no one should have to navigate those dark days alone.
Our core objective is simple: to combat social isolation in the gaming world. We are dedicated to building a 24/7 digital sanctuary and creating immersive, real-world “third spaces” where gamers can turn digital connections into lifelong, real-world friendships. We truly believe that gaming is better with a party, but life is better with a support system.
The Next Quest: Federal Tax Exemption Now that we have established our foundation here in Rhode Island, it is time to initiate our next major quest: applying for our official Federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status with the IRS.
Think of this as our next big raid boss. Securing this status is the critical next step in our roadmap. It will allow us to scale our operations, apply for grants to fund our community-building initiatives, and—most importantly—ensure that when our supporters back our mission, their contributions are fully tax-deductible.
What’s Next? This is just the beginning. Our quest logs are full of plans for future events, community activations, and new ways to help you find your party. We are so incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported us while we were just a “work in progress.” Now that we are officially live, we are ready to hit the ground running.
Gather your gear, check your quest logs, and stay tuned—because our greatest adventures are just beginning!
