We are looking for a strategic thinker to spearhead our financial growth, ensuring we have the "loot" necessary to keep our real-world and digital sanctuaries open.
ABOUT THE GIG
The quest is too big to tackle alone. The Adventurer’s Guild of Giving is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to defeating social isolation through the power of play. We build "third spaces" where gamers can step out of the shadows, find their party, and build real-world support systems.
As the Director of Fundraising, you will sit on our Executive Board and work directly with the founders to establish our financial strategy. You will be the architect behind our donor campaigns, corporate sponsorships, and recurring membership programs.
YOUR PRIMARY QUESTS
- Financial Strategy: Develop and execute an annual fundraising plan, focusing heavily on driving recurring Guild Memberships and optimizing one-time donor campaigns.
- Donor & Corporate Relations: Cultivate relationships with major donors, corporate sponsors, and endemic gaming brands to secure funding and physical assets for our convention builds.
- Charity Drives: Organize and oversee the financial structure of our major digital charity events.
- Board Governance: Attend monthly High Council meetings, collaborate on financial reporting alongside the Director of Operations, and ensure total transparency with our community.
YOUR CHARACTER BUILD (Qualifications)
- Professional experience in nonprofit development, corporate sponsorships, B2B sales, or marketing.
- A proven track record of designing and executing successful campaigns or securing high-value partnerships.
- Confidence in speaking with gaming brands, tech companies, and corporate partners to pitch the Guild's mission.
- A self-starter mentality. We are a growing sanctuary, and we need builders who are comfortable charting new territory and hunting for opportunities.
- Bonus XP: An existing network within the gaming/esports industry or formal grant-writing experience.
THE LOOT (What We Offer)
While this is an unpaid volunteer position, joining the Executive Board puts you on the ground floor of a rapidly growing nonprofit. You will gain official experience, vastly expand your network within the gaming industry, and play a direct, measurable role in ensuring no one has to play the game of life solo.
